The following fees are in effect for the Town of Saranac.

    Birth Certificates - $10.00 each
    Death Certificates - $10.00 each
    Marriage Certificates - $10.00 each
    Marriage Licenses - $25.00 (includes certificate)
    Genealogy Research - $11.00 record or no record certification
All revenues for this go into the general fund with the exception of marriage licenses, $22.50 goes to the New York State Department of Health.

For genealogy searches, please allow up to 10 days for a reply. This allows me to do a through and exact search.

Please make checks payable to THE TOWN OF SARANAC

Some form of identification must be included with all requests. Acceptable forms of identification can be an of the following: Drivers license, passport, non drivers license, naturalization papers, military ID, employers photo ID, police report of stolen ID. Photocopies will be accepted.
