2024 Celebration Meeting

As Town Historian, I am excited to get the history of Saranac out of the past. There is so much history in our little town nestled in the Adirondacks. It has been wonderful to learn more about the past with a great group of people each month. I have a Facebook page, Saranac Town Historian, for others to get as excited as me about Saranac’s history. Please check it out! I post pictures and articles, and welcome others to do the same, as well as ask questions and add comments.

Looking ahead to 2024, Saranac will be celebrating its 200th year anniversary as a town. I am currently looking for a committee to help bring this celebration to life. I am starting to gather ideas to make for a very memorable time; something for all ages! If bringing Saranac’s history to life is something that piques your interest, please feel free to come meet with me and others at the Town Hall July 18th at 6:00 pm!
