Hill and Hollow Moon and Stars Music Event

June 19, 2021 7:30pm - 10:30pm

Hill and Hollow Presents

Kate Sloat Moon and Stars

550 #37 Road, Weatherwatch Farm

Kate Sloat has created her program around the theme of moon and stars - hence the evening start-time. The one-hour concert (without intermission) will finish just as night begins to fall - how poetic! Among the mix of classical, contemporary, and popular works are Debussy’s “Clair de lune,” Glinka’s “Nocturne,” Salzedo’s “Chanson dans la Nuit,” Henry Mancini’s “Moon River,” Ruby Aspinall’s “Night Dances,” Jin Hee Han’s “Morning Star,” J.E. Salazar’s “I See Stars in Your Eyes,” and Harvey Schmidt’s “Moonlight #2” from The Fantasticks.

This event will be a safe gathering, outdoors, under a canopy on the east lawn. Please wear your masks. A limited number of wooden folding chairs will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own, more comfortable, camp chairs. Light refreshments will be served following the performance. Reservations are appreciated to determine how much to prepare: ambrown.hillholl@gmail.com or 518-293-7613. Suggested donation in the range of $15-$20 gratefully accepted.
